The Islamabad High Court has permitted Fawad Chaudhry to travel abroad from August 10 to August 24, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
According to the channel report, IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard the case on Tuesday, while the Deputy Attorney General requested additional time to submit a response.
Earlier on April 16, Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Miss Alia Neelum granted protective bail to Fawad Chaudhry for one week in 36 cases.
The very next week after the bail, the channel reported that Fawad Chaudhry is expected to rejoin Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as party founder Imran Khan has granted permission for his return.
Due to some resistance within the ranks of the party, the rejoining of Fawad Chaudhry is still pending.
Dozens of PTI leaders and elected parliamentarians strongly opposed Fawad Chaudhry's return to the party and said those who left PTI would not be allowed to come back under any circumstances as they have been proved disloyal to Imran Khan in hard times.
They said that Fawad Chaudhry's return would be an abuse for PTI workers who have endured prison hardships.
