CJP presides over JCP rules committee meeting

The Committee on Amendment of Judicial Commission Rules met with the Chief Justice of Pakistan in the chair, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to a Supreme Court statement, the Judicial Commission Rules Committee made suggestions regarding the appointment of judges.
Recommendations were also made in the Supreme Court to amend the procedure for the appointment of judges. The usual procedure for the appointment of judges and specific changes were considered.
