YDA closed OPD in Jinnah Hospital amid protest against principal

Young doctors association (YDA) on Monday closed the outpatient department (OPD), due to which the patients could not be treated and had to face great difficulties, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the young doctors of Jinnah Hospital staged protest against Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal Professor Arif Tajammul.
With the cessation of OPD, patients faced severe difficulties.
Patients from far-flung cities left without being examined.
"Revenge is being taken against us," the doctors said.
The young doctors also demanded a clear and transparent inquiry into the murder of the senior registrar of the General Hospital in broad daylight.

Officials of Young Doctors Association Lahore General Hospital, Punjab Institute of Neurosciences held a press conference at General Hospital.
On this occasion they said that Dr. Fayyaz Hussain has been brutally murdered, adding the brutal murder of a doctor is a moment of concern for the government.
The doctors said the killers should be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice, adding the deceased was the sole breadwinner of the household.
They demanded the wife of the deceased should be given a job on the basis of merit, adding that the concessions should be given to the wife of the deceased, which should be given on the death of public employee.
During a press conference, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mian Arshad said the killers would be arrested soon, adding that only after an investigation will it be known that why Dr Fayaz Hussain was killed.
