Multiple explosions were heard after a fire broke out in a house near Mukka Chowk in Azizabad area of Karachi on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the spokesperson for Sindh Rangers, two fire brigade vehicles and the Rangers personnel overcame the fire with hectic efforts after cordoning off the area.
Due to the intensity of the fire, the fire brigade faced difficulties in entering the house, and an excavator was used to make a way to enter the house.
A Sindh Rangers official sustained critical burns while putting out the fire, and he was shifted to a hospital in an ambulance.
“The fire in the house near Azizabad has been overcome completely. The cooling process is underway, and the bomb disposal squad is determining the cause of the two explosions,” said the Rangers spokesperson.
