Four dacoits shot dead in Lahore police encounters

Four dacoits were killed in two different police encounters late Friday night in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to police, two robbers were killed during an exchange of fire with the police when they were trying to escape after snatching a motorcycle in Kahna area.

The dead robbers were identified as Farhan and Zain.

Stolen motorcycle and weapons were recovered from the possession of the two robbers.

The dead robbers were wanted by the police in cases of murder, attempted murder and robbery.

In another police encounter, two robbers were killed during indiscriminate firing on Iqbal Town police team in Muslim Town area.

According to the police, Iqbal Town police team was taking two accused of murder, firing and robbery for recovery.

The accused had killed Dr Farooq and seriously injured his son during robbery in Najaf Colony Iqbal Town a few days ago.

The police team was taking the accused to recover 6,500 Riyals.

Meanwhile, the accomplices of accused Abdul Qadir and Prince Kashif opened fire on the police indiscriminately.

Abdul Qadir and Prince Kashif were killed by the firing of their own associates.
