PTI to withdraw plea against KP governor for not announcing polls’ date

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to withdraw the petition filed against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for not announcing the date of elections in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the PTI sources, a written plea will be filed in the Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court to withdraw the petition.

It is to be noted here that the Registrar’s Office has not yet allocated a number to the PTI’s petition regarding the KP elections.
