At least 80 people have been killed and several injured in road accidents in Karachi during the first three months of 2025, reported 24 NewsHDTV channel. According to rescue data, most of the deaths were caused by dumpers, long vehicles and water tankers.

31 people lost their lives in trawlers hit, 18 people were crushed by dumpers and 17 people were killed in water tankers related accidents.

Similarly, buses and Mazda trucks also contributed to the death toll. Buses were involved in accidents that killed 9 people, while Mazda trucks were responsible for 5 deaths.

These numbers show that Karachi needs stronger traffic rules, better road planning, and careful checking of heavy vehicles. If action is not taken soon, more people will continue to lose their lives on the city’s busy roads. Many people travel through busy streets, but poor traffic rules and careless driving are causing serious accidents every day.
