Opposition leader in National Assembly said that government was hosting Mineral Conference to woo foreign investors but it should keep in mind that without rule of law all efforts are useless, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Talking to media outside Adiala Jail along with PTI leaders, Omar Ayub said PTI leaders and workers were being kept illegally countrywide.
Omar Ayub said sisters of the founder of PTI were beaten up here, Hamid Raza, Shafqat Awan, Taiba Raja, Alia Hamza were arrested from here.
He said PTI people were illegally detained. Opposition leader said Shehbaz Sharif is the stooge, he is holding a minerals conference while polishing boots.
He said PTI leaders were stopped outside jail and were kept waiting for hours. He said police officers claim they were above the law. He said IG Punjab Usman Anwar is the most corrupt man. He claimed that Omar Ayub urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to implement his orders. He added, ”police officers keep your orders at the tip of their boots, it is better that you go home without resigning”.
To a question he replied who should hold political talks with Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister of Balochistan, they have no authority.
The economic situation of the country is aggravating as due to the depreciation of the rupee, the country's debt has increased by 14 thousand 550 billion rupees.
He claimed the debt has increased due to Mohsin Naqvi, Anwaz Kakar, Shehbaz Sharif, which is the country's budget.
He said PTI have hundred differences, but all leaders and workers were united behind Imran Khan. He said differences were party's internal matter and PTI’s goal is the release of the arrested leaders including the founder and his wife.
