Wildlife dept arrests wolf, his owner in Faisalabad

Punjab Wildlife Department has arrested a wolf and his accused owner in a raid conducted on Monday in Faisalabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Wildlife department officials also took the wolf in their custody and presented both wolf and his owner in the court.
During the proceedings, Civil Judge Muhammad Gulzar imposed fine worth Rs 10,000 fine on the owner for carrying wolf in the residential area.
Deputy Director Wildlife Azem Zafar, Assistant Director Wildlife Abdur Razak Gull and Wildlife Inspector Mirza Imran along with the team conducted the raid, the TV channel reported.
As per the court orders, the wolf will now set free in 14-acres Kamalia Wildlife Park a recreational park of Kamalia and Toba Tek Singh built in 1992.
