Inmates have held hostage five officials of Larkana Central Jail after the admin barred the mother of a death row prisoner from meeting, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The incident took place in the morning when the death row inmate's mother visited the jail to see her son, but the admin did not permit.

The prisoners barricaded five on-duty guards in a ward, filmed their captivity and post on the social media.

These prisoners are very powerful and the prison admin never dare take action.

The prison admin too held hostage two of the inmates who were called to hold negotiations. 

Meanwhile, the inmates in the jail ward threatened to burn alive the five detainee officials if their fellows are not freed. 

The threat created panic among the detainees.
