Veteran actress Babra Sharif turns 69

The veteran Pakistani actress Babra Sharif turned 69 on Dec 10 (Saturday), reported 24NewsHD TV 

She started her artistic life in 1973 through modelling at the age of 12 then entered the film world through TV and later remained the busiest actress in the film for more than two decades.

She started her acting career with her first drama serial ‘Kiran Kahani’ directed by Haseena Moin.

Moreover, she worked in more than 100 films and 8 times won the Nigar award.

In 1974, Babra Sharif appeared on the screen as a supporting actress in the first released film Intizar. In the same year, his film ‘Shaama’ celebrated its golden jubilee.

In the film ‘Mera Naam Hai Mohabbatein’ she worked alongside Ghulam Mohiuddin and won the special Nigar award for this film.

Even at the end of his film career, she proved herself to be a versatile artist by giving successful films like ‘Mukhra’ and ‘Gouriyan Diyan Jhanjharan’.

In nineties, Babra Sharif's films failed after which she said goodbye to the film world. 

Babra Sharif's last film was Ghail and her last Advertisement was ‘Akhair Log Hamara Chehra Hi To Dekhty Hain’ from which she gained a lot of recognition.
