Many wards of Ganga Ram Hospital have been plunged into darkness due to a power outage, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Due to a power outage in the nephrology ward, the dialysis machines have also been stopped and the patients are facing severe problems.

According to Dr. Sohail Arshad, MS of Ganga Ram Hospital, WAPDA has cut off the electricity.

He said they are using generators in the emergency ward and are trying to use generators in other wards as well.

According to WAPDA officials, the electricity will be restored after three hours.
