Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief organizer Maryam Nawaz has leveled serious accusations against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), alleging its involvement in orchestrating an attack on military installations on May 9, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a youth convention at Jalalpur Jattan, Gujrat district on Saturday, Maryam Nawaz asserted that the attack was a deliberate ploy by PTI to divert attention and evade impending legal consequences.

She went on to claim that Imran Khan, anticipating accountability for alleged theft, resorted to a dramatic display by appearing with a plaster cast on his leg.

The daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif characterized Imran Khan as the perpetrator of one of the most significant thefts in Pakistan’s history.

PML-N senior vice chairman said that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif faced "bogus" cases.

Highlighting the historical skepticism surrounding Mian Nawaz Sharif's return, Maryam Nawaz emphasized that adversaries often dismissed the possibility of his comeback.

She said that "Nawaz Sharif was allowed to contest just once every 22 years. “Those who are causing uproar about the level playing field should know that Nawaz Sharif had to live in exile for 11 years."
