Pakistani authorities have taken up with the Twitter management the closure of accounts of the people who highlighted Indian atrocities against Kashmiris on the microblogging platform.
According to the spokesperson for the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), at least 369 Pakistani Twitter users complained about closure or suspension of their Twitter accounts. The PTA looked into these complaints and complained to Twitter about closure of 280 accounts. These accounts were closed or suspended for highlighting Indian brutalities against innocent people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The PTA has informed the Twitter management about Pakistan’s concerns at the closure and suspension of these accounts.
