The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has called a meeting of its central leadership at the party’s headquarters at Mansoora in Lahore on Thursday (today), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reliable sources have revealed that JI Emir Sirajul Haq has also left Islamabad for Lahore for the party’s meeting which will be held at 3pm at Mansoora.

The meeting will focus on the current political situation in the country.

The meeting is taking place in view of the recent visit to Mansoora by PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif during which he sought JI’s cooperation on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
