PIA flight repatriates 142 Pakistanis from Dubai

Pakistan International Airlines special flight carrying 142 Pakistanis landed at Faisalabad Airport on Sunday.

Flight No PK-8222 brought back 142 Pakistanis from Dubai to Faisalabad. All the passengers were screened and they were shifted to quarantine centre as part of SOPs issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. They will be kept at the centre for 48 hours. Their blood samples have been taken for the coronavirus test.

The government had announced that at least 110,000 Pakistanis stranded abroad would be brought back phase-wise.
