Nasir Shah Health, rejecting the criticism of the poor state of affairs in Sindh’s hospitals, Monday said that hospitals in Sindh are being upgraded and the provincial government is going to set up medical oxygen plants in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Jamshoro, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“The capacity at Expo Centre is being expanded and the facility will have the capacity of one lakh vaccinations a day,” said Nasir Shah Health.
He cautioned the masses to remain vigilant during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and use a mask to avoid the spread of the virus.
Nasir Shah said the people of Pakistan have rejected the incumbent federal government as the PTI was defeated recently in recent by-elections across the country.
The minister also commented that transfers and postings are not within the purview of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Moreover, Sindh Transport Department has decided to procure 240 buses for the city and 10 buses will also be operational in Larkana also.
The TV channel reported that the Sindh government has also released Rs 8 billion for the ’People’s Inter-District bus project’.
Sindh Transport Department issued the international tender for the procurement of 240 buses that will be operated on more than 15 routes of the city.
The tender awards will be received by the end of July 2021 and buses will reach within the next six months. It has been reported that the bus company will also invest 15 percent in the project.
As per the agreement, the bus company will be responsible for the manufacturing, operational and maintenance.
