Rain in different parts of Punjab capital on Sunday turned the weather pleasant, reported 24News HD TV channel.

As per the details, Mall Road, Canal Road, Abbot Road, and other parts of the provincial capital witnessed downpour. However, due to heavy rain, around 105 electricity feeders tripped. LECSO spokesman said that they had already alerted the staff to cope with the situation.

The Met Office reported that weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in upper parts of the country today. Rain-wind-thundershower is expected in upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lower Sindh, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The downpour was also witnessed in many other districts including Hafizabad and Sheikhupura of Punjab giving relief from the hot weather.

The Met Office has predicted hot and humid weather conditions, during the next 24 hours across the country.
