Court acquits father, son in constable murder case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday acquitted both father and son in a murder case of Constable Kamal Ahmed in Model Town area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to the details, ATC judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar pronounced the verdict of acquittal of the accused father Sajid Hussain Bukhari and his son Akrama Bukhari in the murder case.

The verdict was reserved earlier after recording evidence and final arguments from both sides.

It merits here to mention that the Lahore-based police constable Kamal Khan was killed during a search operation by a police team at the residence of accused, Sajid Hussain, a local PTI leader, in Model Town area.
