Protest as Peshawar police arrest president of primary teachers association

Teachers of the primary schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) protested Monday against the arrest of the president of All Primary Teachers Association (APTA) by Peshawar police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
APTA General Secretary Rafaqatullah told the media that the police had arrested APTA President Azizullah Khan from his house at 2am on late Sunday night.
“After the arrest, Azizullah Khan had been moved to an unknown location,” he added.
He declared that the teachers’ protest would continue that day, adding that there would be no negotiations until the release of the president.
On the other hand, the police expressed their unawareness about the arrest of the APTA president.
