A man allegedly tortured to death his 12-year-old son in the Duki district of Balochistan, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

According to police, Naseebullah tied the hands and feet of his son Musawar and subjected him to brutal torture at a local village.

They said Naseeb was secretly burying the deceased when the police raided and took the body into custody.

However, the accused fled from the spot. The body was sent to the Civil Hospital and according to doctors, the body bore severe torture marks.

Police said a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
