Two children died, four injured in blast fishing in Lower Dir

At least two children died while four others seriously injured during a blast fishing occurred in Panjgur river near Timergara city of Lower Dir on Sunday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to reports, the explosion occurred in the Panjgur river.
The rescue teams swiftly responded to the scene, rushing to provide aid to the victims.
The lifeless bodies of the deceased children and the injured were promptly transported to the District Hospital Timergara by the rescue officials.
In response to the grave situation, authorities declared an emergency at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
Blast fishing, also known as dynamite fishing, is a highly destructive, illegal method of catching fish which uses dynamite or other types of explosives to send shock-waves through the water, stunning or killing fish which are then collected and sold.
