Islamabad Appellate Tribunal pronounces verdicts on 70 appeals

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Appellate Tribunal in Islamabad has issued verdicts on all 70 appeals brought before it. Among these, only 3 appeals resulted in the retention of Returning Officers (ROs) decisions, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the Tribunal has accepted 65 appeals challenging the decisions related to retirement officers. Notably, appeals against Khawaja Sara's candidacy papers were rejected on two objections.
Furthermore, a decision to reject the nomination papers of a candidate based on dual citizenship has been upheld.
The Election Appellate Tribunal has issued directives with guidance on two applications.
