KP health dept issues show-cause notices to dozens of health officers

The health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Tuesday issued show-cause notices to the health officers of 25 districts in which they were asked to submit report on the medical equipment which had not been used at government hospitals so far, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the DHOs had been asked to explain within 24 hours as to why packed medical equipment that had been provided to them was not used.
Sources further said that it had been conveyed to these officers that in case they did not respond to these notices, action would be taken against them.
