Court grants police two more days physical remand of 20 rioters of Multan Cantt

A court in Multan on Saturday granted police a physical remand of 20 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) rioters for two more days in connection with a vandalism incident at Multan Cantt on May 9,” the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the sources, in the third case registered against them for vandalism, physical remand was approved against them by District Magistrate Muhammad Zakaria. The court also ordered to discharge of 32 accused from the case.
The court sent Multan District Bar member Ansar Dharala to jail on judicial remand in three cases.
The court held that he could file a bail application.
The Anti-Terrorism Court had quashed 7 anti-terrorist acts in three cases registered by Cantt police station against the rioters.
In case no 868 registered in Multan Cantt police station against the protesters that they targeted sensitive installations on May 9.
The court had abolished the provisions of terrorism in case number 869-870-868.
About 185 accused in these cases are in prison on an identification parade and judicial remand.
