Cotton imports from US to Pakistan multiply

Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) Chairman Ehsanul Haq said that during current week Pakistan inked accords to import 72,000 bales of cotton from United States, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement on Monday, Ehsanul Haq said that during current year Pakistan become largest country to import cotton from USA.
He further revealed that agreement already finalized to import more than three million cotton bales from the USA.
Ehsanul Haq said that due to low production of cotton in Pakistan, we prefer to import cotton from the USA.
Now after an increase of Rs200 in prices of cotton one mound of cotton touched to Rs18,200 per mound.
