YDA urges PM Shehbaz to pass PMC bill in NA

With the political change, every segment of society hoped for betterment, as the Young Doctors Association (YDA) on Tuesday demanded the new government to approve the bill of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) in the National Assembly, reporter 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Mayo Hospital, the leaders of YDA has stressed the new government to fulfil their demands, adding that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari among other leaders supported them over the matter of PMC.
The leaders of YDA said that in case the bill of PMC will not be approved in National Assembly, they will stage Long March in Islamabad.
YDA also demanded that Dr Nosherwan Burki should be arrested by putting his name on Exit Control List (ECL), adding that MTI Act should be abolished on immediate basis.
The leaders of YDA also warned to stage a protest if PMC President Arshad Taqi and Vice President Ali Raza did not tender their resignations.
YDA also said that coronavirus still exists, but nothing was done for the doctors who are working to contain the pandemic, adding that the promise was made to increase the salaries of the doctors by 25 per cent, which only increased by 10 per cent.
