PIAF all set for holding flag-hoisting ceremony to celebrate Independence Day

Like other parts of the country, the Pakistan Industrial & Traders Associations Front is all set to celebrate Pakistan’s 73rd Independence Day on 14th of August, 2020 on Friday, also holding a flag-hoisting ceremony, pledging to uphold the values of determination and dedication for the objective of progress and high economic growth of Pakistan on this auspicious occasion.

PIAF chairman Mian Nauman Kabir said that the landmark commemorative Independence Day event will be attended by a large number of business community, trade bodies and industrial associations under the banner of PIAF- the ruling group of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) in provincial capital and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) across the country.

Provincial Livestock Minister Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak and PIAF Chairman Mian Nauman Kabir will hoist the national flag along with FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar, LCCI President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, PIAF senior vice chairman Nasir Hameed, vice chairman Javed Siddiqi and the executive committee on this occasion.

The well-attended event will be held at 10-30am at PIAF Office, at 5-A Gulberg, Lahore. Mian Nauman Kabir stated that preparations in this regard are in full swing in PIAF office to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day this year with zeal to commemorate the sacrifices of our forefathers during the freedom struggle.

The whole building is being decorated with national flags, buntings and banners to reinvigorate the resolve of business community to contribute towards progress and prosperity of the country dynamically, as envisioned by father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
