Katcha area dacoits kidnap two through honey trap, demand Rs50m ransom

Two persons have reportedly been abducted by the notorious dacoits of the Kacha area in Sadiqabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The victims identified as Hasan Khan and Zahid Khan, hailing from Tajik village in Hazro tehsil, Attock district, have fallen prey to the criminal elements through a honey trap.
According to Waseem Khan, the brother of Hasan Khan, his sibling traveled to Sadiqabad three days ago in pursuit of purchasing a car after coming across an advertisement on Facebook.
However, the abductors kidnapped Hasan Khan and Zahid as car selling through Facebook was merely a trap made by the notorious gang.
Waseem Khan added the family received a call today from the kidnappers, using Hasan Khan's phone.
The abductors are now demanding a staggering ransom of Rs 50 million for the release of the hostages, leaving the family in a desperate plea for help.
Waseem Khan appealed to the Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Punjab Chief Minister, and the District Police Officer (DPO) Attock to assist in the swift rescue of the kidnapped individuals.
“We are very poor people and cannot meet the demands of kidnappers,” he hinted.
