Dr Farooq Sattar of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Restoration Committee has sprung into mustering up support for Sajid Ahmad, an MQM-Pakistan candidate for PS88 by-election.

Farooq made an appeal to the people of Malir to stamp Kite – the election symbol of MQM-P in by-polls scheduled to be held on February 16. 

Ahmed has served as an MNA from Malir in the past. The PS88 constituency fell vacant after Pakistan People’s Party MPA Ghulam Murtaza Baloch died from coronavirus in June.
