As the 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is here, the fans are super hyped and excited to see their teams and their favourite players on the field.

An overview of the last seven editions of the league showing the number of matches won by each team and the teams that have won the trophy is as under:

Islamabad United has won the trophy twice in the last seven seasons and has its eyes on the trophy again in this edition.

Peshawar Zalmi won the title once and became the team to have won 43 matches in total as of yet. Whereas, Karachi Kings became the team to have faced the most defeats against all the other teams which count up to 42 times. However, The Kings have also won the trophy of PSL once.

Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans have also won the trophy once each and now all the teams have their eyes on the title while the defending champion Lahore Qalandars are determined to defend the trophy once again this season.
