A group of artists staged a demo against the closure of stage plays, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The protesting artists of Lahore Arts Council said they have been jobless after the closure of theatre.

They announce they will go on a hunger strike if authorities did not bother to pay head the issue.  More than a hundred artists have been jobless.
