Opposition in the National Assembly Friday staged a walkout during the budget speech being delivered by the Minister for Industries Hammad Azhar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During Azhar's speech, loud slogans against the premier and table-thumping by the opposition benches was heard as the minister highlighted PTI-led government's efforts to streamline the economy.
The opposition displayed placards seeking answers from the rulers about their promises.
The opposition members also approached the government benches to stage a protest but Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser intervened and ordered them to return to their seats.
After creating quite a ruckus that failed to demotivate or stop Azhar from his speech, the opposition staged an unannounced walkout from the House proceedings.
