High inflation will be controlled and petrol prices will be reduced as the Russian ship loaded with the cheap-rated oil reached Pakistan and berthed before the storm at Karachi port, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
It is predicted that when cheap petrol from Russia reaches Pakistan, the scheme of providing petrol 100 rupees cheaper than the original price can be started.
It should be noted that the government had created slabs in the prices of petroleum products to give relief to the middle class, but this scheme could not be implemented but it has become possible now.
According to the channel report, the sitting coalition government of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) decided to order cheap oil from Russia last year to reduce energy costs, and after crossing all hurdles and taking every suitable step, the ship carrying Russian oil reached the port of Karachi.
The Russian ship filled with 45,142 metric tons of cheap price oil called Pure Point has arrived in Pakistan and has been brought to the OP-2.
