Balochistan extends school holidays till March 31

Balochistan Education Minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind on Thursday said that the provincial government has decided to extend the school holidays till March 31 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
He informed the media persons that the Balochistan government has extended winter vacations for 15 days.
Authorities had already tightened control at the Pakistan-Iran Taftan border and it was temporarily opened on Thursday but the trading activities were still suspended on both sides of the border, reported 24NewsHD.tv
Taftan Assistant Commissioner said, “Balochistan government has also decided to put people other than pilgrims under quarantine that are returning back to the province”. He said that pilgrims near Pakistan-Iran border have been placed at five different quarantine centres.
Taftan AC said 328 more students, pilgrims and traders were admitted for 14-day quarantine for screening purposes.
