Four teams vie in two PSL 8 matches today

Four teams are going to vie in two matches of the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) today.

The first match will be played between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi cricket stadium at 2:00 PM. It will be the 29th match of PSL 8.

Islamabad United have played nine matches in PSL 8 so far, and they remained victorious in six of them.

They rank third on the points table with 12 points.

It is to be noted here that Islamabad United have qualified for the playoffs.

On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi too have played nine matches in PSL 8 so far, and they remained victorious in six of them.

They rank fourth on the points table with eight points. They too have qualified for the playoffs.

The second match will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore at 7:00 PM. It will be the 30th match of PSL 8.

Lahore Qalandars have played nine matches in PSL 8 so far, and they remained victorious in seven of them.

They are the table-toppers on the PSL points table with 14 points.

It merits a mention here that Lahore Qalandars had led the way into the playoffs.

On the other hand, Karachi Kings too have played nine matches in PSL 8 so far, and they remained victorious in only two of them.

The team have been eliminated from race for the PSL playoffs.
