Matric's Math paper leaked due to invigilators negligence in Lahore

The sheer negligence on the part of the staff at an examination centre in Lahore came to light on Wednesday when they distributed the question paper of Mathematics to the Class-X students who had come to take the examination of English, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
It is learnt that the examination of Mathematics was scheduled to be held on May 14, but, the serious mistake happened due to the negligence of the staff including the centre superintendent that distributed Math’s question paper instead of English’s to Class-X students.
It is also reported that incompetent staff has been deployed at various examination centres in Lahore on the recommendations of the Lahore Board administration; therefore, administrative errors have begun to appear in the examination process.
The Lahore Board administration also sprang into action after the mistake came to light, and, the Lahore Board office remained open till late at night to call all the question papers back that had been sent to 760 centres in Lahore division.
The administration managed to call the question papers back from all the examination centres in Lahore division, but, it failed to arrange the return of those question papers that had been to Daanish Schools in different districts of Punjab.
Citizens and the academic circles said that such errors raised questions about the secrecy of the exams.
Meanwhile, the Higher Education Department said that the matter was under its notice, adding a report in that regard had also been sought from the Lahore Board chairman.
