Ruling parties’ alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday has said there would be no elections without electoral and NAB reforms in the country.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Maulana Fazlur Rehman addressed a function in Karachi and said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan wanted a clash among institutions for enjoying power.
He said it has been cleared from the former premier Imran Khan's statement who had been behind him and by whom he had been ruled over the country.
Maulana Fazl said the institutions are the watchdogs of the state, not the government, adding that when the no-confidence motion was successful, the elite and the ‘retired’ establishment mourned and began to increase pressure on the military leadership.
The ruling politician said aftershocks of Imran Khan's economic destruction will keep coming so the national economists should take decisions coming out of the IMF pressure.
