Prime Minister Imran Khan launches Naya Pakistan Certificates

Prime Minister Imran Khan speaking at a launching ceremony of Naya Pakistan Certificates in Islamabad on Thursday termed the overseas Pakistanis as patriots and the biggest asset of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“Pakistan’s economic indicators are positive and after 17 years Pakistan’s current account deficit became surplus in the quarter,” he added.

“We faced food inflation challenges in the country but this food inflation has also the similar trend in India,” he added.

Imran Khan said: “We have convinced overseas Pakistan to invest their money in Pakistan. They will get a good return against their investments.”

Talking about Islamophobia in European countries, the Prime Minister said there has been an islamophobia campaign in some countries.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed for finalizing incentives for setting up Special Technology Zones to attract foreign investments. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, he said many talented overseas Pakistanis are also interested to invest in the sector.

The Prime Minister emphasised that Pakistan has immense potential in the IT sector, which needs to be optimally tapped for fulfilling the country's domestic requirements as well as exporting IT-related products.

He said the young Pakistani population will get maximum advantages from promoting the neglected IT sector of the country.
