The Israeli army said Tuesday that four of its soldiers have been killed in the northern Gaza Strip during clashes with Palestinian fighters.
It said in a statement that all four "fell during combat in the northern Gaza Strip" on Monday, bringing the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in the Palestinian territory since the start of ground operations in October last year to 376.
Meanwhile, Gaza's civil defence agency said Tuesday that at least 14 people were killed in Israeli strikes on the Palestinian territory.
"At least 14 people were killed and dozens injured early Tuesday morning after several (Israeli) strikes on the Gaza Strip," spokesman Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.
