A veteran Pakistani singer and actress Musarat Nazir Jan celebrated her 83rd birthday on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
She left the film industry at the peak of her career and shifted to Canada along with her husband Arshad Majeed.
Musarat Nazir Jan is a renowned Pakistani-Canadian singer who sang multiple songs which got famous worldwide and also has been showed an essence of her best acting skills in many hit Punjabi and Urdu films from 1950’s to 1970’s.
She is the one whose songs always rock in every wedding. Happiness is incomplete in every wedding event without Musrat Nazirjan's songs.
She got fame in the music industry after her superhit songs like Mera Long Gawacha, Mehndi Nee Mehndi, Mathy Te Chamkanwaliye, Chitta Kukkar Banire Te and many more.
The singer and actress also won the pride of performance award from the President of Pakistan in 1989.
