PEF to stop funding schools involved in fake enrollment

Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has decided to stop funding of those schools involved in fake enrolment of students, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to PEF officials, the department also decided to start monitoring 13,000 schools which are affiliated with Punjab Education Foundation permanently, while in future funds will be released to these schools according to their student strength.
Now funds will be disbursed among these departments after examining their attendance registers.
All the record of these schools will be available on online application through digital method. Admission forms of students will be checked for enrollment.
In case of low attendance of students an exit registered will be examined thoroughly, while furniture of school and building will also be examined.
All the facilities which will be provided to students will be monitored, while stern action will be taken against those patron-in-chiefs who will found involved in submitting fake records.
