Unknown assailants opened fire on a car killing three people boarding the vehicle in Takht Nusrati in Karak, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue sources informed that a car came under the hail of fire on Friday in the vicinity of Zairi Wala area of Takht Nusrati. As a result, three people riding in the car, died on the spot.

Rescue sources said the bodies of the deceased were shifted to a hospital.

In March, five people were killed and eight others got injured when unknown persons opened fire on a vehicle in Naltar, Gilgit. 

The car was heading from Gilgit to Naltar when it was sprayed with bullets by the attackers. Police said the cause of the firing could not be ascertained immediately.
