ANF seizes 360kg hashish, weapons in Lasbela operation

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted countywide operations against drug smugglers and seized a large quantity of drugs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The ANF officials conducted an operation near Lasbela and arrested two suspects foiling a bid to smuggle 360kg of hashish and weapons from Quetta to Karachi in two vehicles. The detained accused were the residents of Quetta.
In other operation, a truck was impounded near Sangjani Toll Plaza, Islamabad and 25kg and 200 grams of Hashish and 7kg and 200 grams of opium were recovered by the ANF officials. Two Khyber residents were nabbed.
Moreover, 18 kg of hashish were recovered from plastic bags near Kohat Dara Adam Khel.
Lastly, an operation was conducted in Hyderabad and an accused was held after recovering 1 kg and 500 grams of hashish from his possession.
Accused were booked in separate cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
