FBR failed to get dual citizenship details of Tax officials
Six Tax offices did not provide data on dual nationality of employees despite FBR’s several reminders

Tax offices, Commissioner Appeals offices, Inland Revenue Service, and others Tuesday even after numerous reminders from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) did not provide details of officers and workers with dual citizenships, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Six Tax Offices across the country did not provide FBR with the details of employees with dual citizenship. While 24 Commissioner Appeals offices in the country including Lahore failed to deliver the board the demanded details.
FBR demanded the abovementioned details of officers from Grade-1 till Grade-21 from the Inland Revenue Services to present before the Public accounts committee.
The Corporate Tax Office Lahore, Commissioner Appeals two, three, four, six, seven, and nine also failed to present FBR with dual citizenship details of workers and officers.
FBR stated that the failure in the submission of dual citizenship details from the field offices will lie on the concerned head.
