Rs290m released for Punjab Assembly, Speaker’s House revamp

Rs290 million worth of funds were released Tuesday for the renovation of Punjab Assembly and Speaker’s House, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the official sources, Rs69 million were released for the furnishing of new Punjab Assembly building.
Moreover, Rs100 million were released for the renovation and construction work at People House.
Also, Rs128 million were released for the Speaker’s House and MPA’s hostel.
The Punjab Finance Department released the funds on an urgent basis on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
