A PTI activist, Khadija Shah, who is accused of provoking violence through WhatsApp messages, was presented before an anti-terrorism court in Quetta on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police sought a 14-day remand of the suspect from the court, but the judge, Saadat Bazai, questioned the need for such a long period.

The investigation officer said that the police needed to conduct mobile forensics of Khadija Shah's phone to gather evidence.

However, the suspect's lawyer, Iqbal Shah, argued that the police had failed to do so for six months and that the remand was unnecessary.

After hearing both sides, the court granted a three-day remand of Khadija Shah to the police and adjourned the case.
