Kashmala Tariq on NAB’s radar

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has swung into action after learning that huge amounts were exchanged between PML-N leader Khawaja Asif’s close aide Arshad Warraich and former lawmaker Kashmala Tariq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The NAB will probe whether the transactions with Kashmala Tariq had anything to do with Khawaja Asif.
Kashmala Tariq had allegedly received Rs120 million in her bank account in 2015. According to sources, Kashmala withdrew Rs80 million in the year 2015 and 2016.
It may be mentioned here that Kashmala Tariq was appointed as Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace in February 2018.
It is likely that the NAB may summon both Kashmala Tariq and Arshad Warraich.
