Captain, soldier martyred during operation against terrorists in Kurram

An officer and a soldier Tuesday martyred martyrdom during an operation against terrorists in Zewa, Kurram District.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations statement, the Security Forces conducted an Area Sanitization Operation in Zewa, Kurram District on the reported presence of terrorists.

Three terrorists were killed during the operation. During intense exchange of fire with the terrorists, an officer, Captain Basit and a soldier, Sepoy Hazrat Bilal embraced shahadat.

Captain Basit was 25 years old and was a resident of Haripur while Sepoy Hazrat Bilal was 22 years old and a resident of Orakzai.

Cordon and search operation is in progress to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
