Three kids die in Islamabad roof collapse

Three children died and their father sustained severe injuries when a roof caved in at the Tarnol area of Islamabad on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, a family was sleeping on the rooftop of their house in Mohallah Dhok Abbasiyan, Islamabad. They died after the roof of their neighbours’ house came crashing on them, killing three kids on the spot. While their father received severe injuries in the fatal roof collapse.

The bodies and injured man were taken to a local hospital. 

On June 6, four children of a family died in a roof collapse incident when a powerful storm backed by strong winds wreaked havoc in Tehsil Mehar of district Dadu.

Rescue teams said that the house was located near Mehar Bypass area, which was lashed by heavy rains and strong winds.

All four were brothers and sisters who were taking refuge under the roof. But unfortunately the roof caved in.
